Definitely a scam. Got my elderly mother on the phone and tried to convince her that her grandson was in jail. Had a boy play the role and then put the same "lawyer" on the phone. Wanted $2000. Pass the word.
Scam callers. These guys are crooks. Pretending "lawyer" and asking bond money of $8,000 for "jailed client"! Introduced himself as "lawyer" with the name of Steve Harper!.. We laughed as this phone belongs to Karla Ortiz per the phone company.

Same scam that happen to my father in law that is sick with cancer unfortunately he feel for it. I hope these guys get caught and pay the price. I hope nobody else falls for this crap.
This [***] called my sick grandmother-same story. Her grandson is in jail and she needs to send money, this piece of garbage calls himself "legal aid" what a jerk. She ALMOST fell for it. She's all upset & nervous and this pice of [***] keeps calling her!!!!!!!!!!
These guys keep using the same story. The called my elderly grandmother today and told her I was hurt in accident and had a DUI. They said if she told anybody that I would lose my professional standing. Apparently a crying boy got on the phone who was supposed to me. They scared the crap out of her. She's 95 years old. They said Adrian Hernandez was the bond guy in Boston MA and the transfer order was 01A6785. It was a Walmart to Walmart transfer. These guys should be arrested.
