I received the same message to the main number of my place of employment. I called the number back and it rang several times. Finally someone with an Indian accent picked up and said "Thank you for calling the Internal Revenue Service, this is officer Thomas..." I immediately started laughing and told them they needed to cook up a better scam than this to fool people. Of course they hung up. ROFL!
I have gotten countless calls with the same robo message. Was worried the first time but then I realized the IRS does not sue, it audits. And it always sends letters. It would be good to report it, but where?
