My dad kept getting the calls. I got on the phone and threatened to call the Attorney General's office in Arkansas. They kept calling so I filed a complaint with FCC and then called Arkansas AG's office. When I told the young lady that it was Cash Advances of America, she indicated that they were very familiar with them. I gave her the phone number and the calls have stopped...(hopefully, they don't call back again)....
I too have been getting these calls for about two weeks. When I investigated the 551/200-5415 # I found that the phone carrier for this # is Cellco d/b/a Verizon Wireless. I have Verizon cell phone. Could that be where they are getting my # AND could that be how they are getting by the blocks?
