Received a similar message as everyone else. The robo call claims to be from my utility and asks to call back with my utility bill ready. I actually work on behalf of utility companies and know that this is a scam. It is likely an independent energy company trying to scam you into switching your energy provider. This number has now been reported to the FTC.
Called cell. Left message that Atlantic City Electric wanted to speak about account. Called the company directly from number on statement to check & it wasn't them as I assumed. They did not have my cell #.
Scam caller/fake CID - call from 551-225-8070 (Jersey City). Left voice mail, from Amber claiming she needed to talk to me about a Notice on my Atlantic City Electric account. And I had to call her back immediately with a recent statement at 856-212-0795 (Vineland). I guess they're phishing for account numbers.... Scumbag scammers.
Caller ID says Eugene Smith, called landline, left no message....the number of crap calls is increasing....our do not call list is not worth the cost to the taxpayer. It is worthless.
Same as above. Wanted to talk to me about my Atlantic City Electric account. I did not answer the call. I can't answer my phone anymore. Might as well have it taken out.
