These are people who got my unlisted number from PSE&G -- they robo call because they claim they have cheaper rates than PSE&G. This is the big break we all got from "energy choice." They won't leave me alone, and they are not a charity, and I am on the do not call list. I called PSE&G to complain and got the brush off. I called the Board of Public Utilities and the woman was rude and obnoxious; they won't do anything. They called me twice today alone. Another reason to hate living in Jersey.

PSE&G is not happy about this; they are legally required to share their customer base with these scumbags. They lead you to believe you are talking to PSE&G and try to get your account number and POD # so they can switch you without your permission. PSE&G has your info. Do not give it to these people!!! If you have already done so, don't worry. PSE&G will not change you over without sending a written notification. If their service was good, they wouldn't have to resort to this. I don't know which of these companies this is, but if I find out they will definitely not get my business. When I insisted I didn't have the POD number, the @#$ hung up on me.
OK...it is bad enough that we have gotten a bunch of calls from this number before, but today is Memorial Day and we got yet another call and again no message is left. The listing says Hackensack NJ. I called back and got a recorded message about how sorry they were if they bothered us....RIGHT! and if we wanted our number removed from their list press one. I did...so now they will call from a different number.
I am so glad that others out there post so we know we are not alone.
