I have a phone that has call blocking. I can block up to 250 numbers. That's almost filled up after 2 years. These calls from solicitors are akin to barking dogs and screaming children: All are totally unnecessary.

I had an initial call from what appeared to be a personal cell the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. It turned out to be a call center person misrepresenting themselves as GE Security services. They tried to push me into changing my system for a new system and with it a 5 year contract with Monitronics. As I was hanging up on them they even pushed for the Friday after Thanksgiving as the change over day. Well that morning starting at 9:25 am I was hit with a barrage of over 60 calls for the next 2 hours. None of them left intelligible messages and I guess would be considered "abandoned calls" They used 4 different numbers and when I blocked them they called more rapidly
I have since reported all the numbers involved to the FCC for violations and filed a report with the local Alarm Contractors board against them.
this number calls me everyday at least once. They will not given in and it is getting very irritating. They leave no message. So I have decided the next time they call I will answer and either blow a whistle into the phone or scream at the top of my lungs. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!
