Received a call from Spanish speaker, broken English claiming to be a relative and driving up my ways and planning to visit me. But the next day he called many times while I was at work and I tried calling back but it wouldn't go through. Finally after many more calls I answered on my break where he explained that he had gotten into an accident on Interstate 95 near Baltimore and that he crashed into another driver parked on the highway. He claimed to not have been hurt but he needed help with lots of money to pay the other driver for damages since they didn't want to settle it with insurance companies nor to report it to the police.The other driver needed the money right away since he is late for a flight to Mexico and also he would still come up and visit me to my unknown address. I said I didn't have that kind of money but I could only help him with a hundred and recommended he call the police for a report as a trusting witness.. He never gave his name and stopped calling insistently.

Caller calling himself Junior as a son of my brother driving in from Florida. He used my first name and wanted to know if I recognized his voice. Sounded Hispanic. I didn't and I kept asking who he was but he said ok and hung up. Good riddance.
In Spanish speaking male called my 90 year old mom. Asked do you recognize the voice. Mom said no. The male said guess, mom gave names third one he said yes. Male stated driving from Florida and wanted to visit. Mom said ok, male did not ask address. Male called an hour later and stated he was involved in an accident and a young girl was injured. The male asked if mom had 500 dollars so he can pay the ambulance. Mom told him no the male had to wait for her son. Male called back, after a few questions, I informed the male I knew it was a scam.
The male stated how did I know. That job was getting harder in NY to scam people. I cursed the [***] and hung up
