Harassing calls on a daily basis. Caller ID shows "out of area". I answered the call and they wanted to do a survey. Research on Google shows company Nichols Research. Definitely will take this up with FTC.
You might want to reconsider...Nichols Research is a legitimate consumer research firm. I've done a number of studies with them over the years. Usually they'll pay you from $100.00 - $250.00 depending on the study and how long it takes. One time a new Safeway opened here in downtown San Jose and they paid me 100 bucks or so plus a $50.00 Safeway credit for groceries while they followed me around and asked me why I bought what I did. I've done probably 8-10 other studies over the last decade - everything from mock juries to studies on new products - whatever.
I'm doing two studies with them over the next two weeks and will make $400.00 for about 10 hours of my time.
They tend to call people in the early evening because they know that's when people are most likely to be home.
