Who called from 5592780000

A missed call from this number....I called back and this is what the recording said
"california state university, fresno caller identification number. For assistance in obtaining a campus telephone number dial 278-4240"  I'm not sure what this was about but it sounds suspicious....

It's legit.  Call Center for the Fresno State Fund at California State University, Fresno --> Contacted school and they verified.

Any office at Fresno State that calls will register on caller ID as 278-0000. So it could be any number from a Fresno State line.

this number calls me every other day either mid afternoon or night time. 8pm to be exact. no one is there when answered and then it disconnects shortly after being answered. I would like these calls to stop.

I get calls from this number late at night also. They never leave a message and when I try to answer, the line disconnects. Thanks to this website I now know it's my old alma mater probably hitting me up for money! Thanks!
