I received a call from this number. The lady with the accent asked if I had diabetes. I said no. She then asked if I knew anyone who had diabetes. I told her of course I did - afterall most of us know someone who has it. She then asked for my friends names and telephone numbers so she could call them. I said, "I don't give my friends names and numbers out" and hung up.
Calling to see if anyone in the household has diabetes, so they could give a free lifetime supply of medicines. She had a strong foreign accent and said she was calling from San Diego. The area code indicates central CA, not southern CA. Something is fishy!
justy got a call from National Diabetes Association. There is a legitimate association --the American Diabetes Association--this is not it. A scam. Giving away medication , give me a break.
