Supposedly fundraising for law enforcement families (to support in times of tragedy, scholarships and other purposes). This seems like an odd form of legitimate fundraising for law enforcement.
Claimed to be from Fraternal Order of Police. Woke me up early on a weekend. The guy calling try to make his voice sound intimidating and official. I would question how much money goes to local departments. It better to donate directly to your local departments.
My question is why would a reputable fund raising organization use spoofed caller IDs for their call campaign? This is the second phone number I've blocked for this caller. I will continue to do do. I've told the callers to take a hike and they DO use an intimidating voice. They hang up quickly when I tell them I'm calling our local police department to check on them
