I had two voice mails for Theo Martin same heavily accented voice Indian or Pak claming that it is a second attempt to reach us and not to ignore or criminal action will be taken to the Grand Jury for IRS and to call immediately. same number 559-358-4650. I'm really getting angry about these scams.
The Hispanic sounding caller with broken English called leaving recorded message about "criminal action being taken and grand jury" and states to return call to this number. 559.358.4650
Got voicemail from 559-358-4650 today; said his name was Steve Martin (really) and same messsage of " criminal action being taken and must appear before the magistrate' etc. "Call us and help us help you". Heavy Pakistani accent. Obvious scam call; happened yesterday too from different area code and number - 530 532-2612.
I wish I had time to call them back and "play along", just to see what it is all about. If anyone does, stay on the line for as long as you can where they'll think you are cooperating and willing to send them money (which is what they probably want). Then after keeping them online forever, you can say you changed your mind.
If you were in trouble with the Federal Government, they would NOT be calling you with a recording, especially someone with a Pakistani accent.
I believe there is a new scammer on the loose. Their phone #559-358-4650. Speaks in broken English and says something about the enforcement actions by the US Treasury and to respond to this phone number to avoid having to appear before a grand jury for a criminal federal offense.
