You probably are VERY safe assuming this is a scam, very likely one of the Phony Debt Scams. The best thing to do right now is don't return the call, block the number and don't take these scum at all. If you talk to them they will become pests and make threats. If it helps you feel any better, people in Fresno don't get The Great State of Arkansas at all. Regnat Populus!! ps - LOVE your State Bird!
Left message saying I committed a felony in Fresno, California. I live in Arkansas and have no idea what they are talking about. Person did not speak very good English and was quite hard to understand.

Got a call also saying it was an enforcement action by the United States Treasury and ignoring the message would be intentional second attempt to avoid an initial appearance before the magistrate judge or the grand jury for a federal criminal offence. I, also, am in Arkansas. He doesn't speak good english and never says where and never addresses me by name. I knew it was a scam but was curious to see what they would say. I called and it is just a recording telling me to hang up.
Exact same message received in Columbus, Ohio, today. Thanks for calling on our behalf, Michelle. It sounded like a scam and, like others said, the message is very general, not addressed to me in particular. Thanks!
