Got a recording message today, 8 15 am, 3/27/15: "This call is officially a final notice from IRS, Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filling a lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our the department number 347-708-0070, I repeat 347-708-0070 ".
Searching online, here's what I found: http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-347-708-0070
This is from a very heavy Indian accent man that goes by the name of Office Mark Anderson (?) Dept of Justice in California stating I owe $ on a non paid payday loan and they have a warrant for my arrest.
SCAM....SCAM....
Answered the phone to hear silence for about 30 seconds and then an automated voice that said "good-bye". Wasn't sure if just by answering the phone and staying on the line for that 30 second period allowed some criminal access to my phone line or something. So many scams and tech crimes it makes you paranoid to answer the phone.
Mine came from 786-664-8434 but it was the same heavily accented Indian guy going by the name Mark Anderson...hello, accent and Anderson do not go together, scam artist!
Anyway, he said the same thing, pay day loan in July for $300.00, then he changed it to May and $521.00. He said charges were going to be filed against me for internet fraud, bank fraud, mispresentation of identity and one other count. I asked for proof and got a very crudely written email from some guy named Scott Lanin and within less than an hour the amount had gone from $521.00 to $685.00. Well these idiots are messing with the wrong girl. I work for a Police Department and gave all of my correspondence to my Detectives. I sure hope these idiots get caught before gullible people believe them and give them even more information.
Keep getting a call from this number. I have been busy each time and didn't answer. No message was left and when I finially tried to call back I got a message saying that it was non-working number.
