I received a call from a dish towel, I mean [***],I mean Arabian. Advising me he was from the US dept of treasury. Hysterical. He askedid when I last filed taxes,I advised him he should know. He wanted it from "my side". I'm a bill collector and have been for years,this is an old school "shake" get it riiight. Oldest dumbest most illegal practice of collecting. I was then advised the sheriff would come for me. LOL. Should I put my guns and dogs up too. Soooo ridiculous. To bad an AG,FTC or CFPB downtown reach third world countries.
Left threatening voicemail saying i was going to be arrested by my local law enforcement if i didnt return the call. Got same voicemail from a different area code this summer
Left threatening voicemail saying I was going to be arrested by my local law enforcement if I didn't return the call. I tried returning the call and the call can't go through. Then the number called back about 30 minutes later and recording said that was an invalid extension?!?! As if there's not enough to deal with!!
message from caller with mexican accent identified self as being from dept. of treasury, said to return call to number or local law enforcement would show up and arrest me. Caller ID shows as VOIP number.
Left threat message 5 times on my voice mail I will be reporting them to my local police. It's a scam. David Chambers from the Treasury Dept. What a joke. Man had accent from India. Definitely not intelligent because the US TREASURY would not leave a threating message on any ANSWERING MACHINE .... What a joke and I will not back off I will pursue this.
