Called ask for business owner by First Name. Wants to make sure our Credit Card rates are as low as can be. Said he is going to send someone to the business. I of course said no. You can hear a lot of people in the background.
Just got a call from these people. As with Mr. Kidding, above, the rep asked to speak with my first name, then launched into a spiel that includes no breathing or listening. Had to tell the rude rep three times to take my number off her list. She said, after the third request, "Why are you getting angry about saving money?" I then told her my business was kaput. She then said, "NOW I can take your number off my list." Evidently, she was going to hang on forever, despite my asking--politely--that she just take my number off her list. Rude, rude, rude.
Called twice today, they hung up when I answered the first time. Second time, rep came on and asked for our owner by name. I told them he wasn't here so she asked if there was anyone else to speak to. I said I could and she said they were interested in saving us money on our credit card rates and that a rep would be in my area Monday and Tuesday, what day could she sign me up for? Never a mention of what company she was representing or anything. I STARTED to say "we're not interested" but she hung up before I even finished.
