Received call from 559-473-2651 earlier today, CallerID showing only a long sequence of digits that are different than the phone number. Area code '559' already blocked.
Called my home phone, no message left on answering machine. I called the number back and got the message, "the number you have dialed has been unallocated."
A Scammer using VOIP to violate the DNC list and avoid getting caught.
The number is now blocked on my Panasonic land line.
I dialed the number back on a Saturday and got a lengthy recording--"we're closed or assisting other customers." The name of the business was not given, but it's in the Eastern Time zone, which rules out Clovis, Fresno, and Visalia. Call came in July 3, which was Sunday.
