A call from this Fresno VOIP arrived today. When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message. This is typical of illegal telemarketers who use automated dialers to place calls. If a live person answers, the dialer transfers the call to a live telemerketer.
Since I neither know nor do business with anyone in Fresno, it is highly likely this is an illegal telemarketer, in violation of the Do Not Call law.
(559) 473-2683 called and left no message. Caller ID just said "Fresno CA". I don't know anyone in Fresno and if it were a legitimate call, why did they not leave message. Now blocked!! And I am on the "Do Not Call" list, but of course no one enforces the rules that protect citizens.
Thanks to the Do Not Call Registry....another scammer is getting through.....559 473 2683......thanks to my Time Warner television log I didn't waste time to answer it.....the number is now blocked through Time Warner....
