Possibly a robo caller looking for active phone numbers to pass to a telemarketer.  No message is left.

Calls and leaves no message = I suspect a scammer.

Called no message. Scan- scum no difference

Calls every day with no message and I do not answer but hear him/her hang up when message machine comes on.  Another evil monster looking to do damage.
