As I was expecting a call, I made the mistake of answering this call in haste. Caller ID lists caller as "unknown", however the caller identified himself as being with Discovery Research Group. I quickly stated to the caller that "I don't want to talk to you" and abruptly hung up the phone so I do not know the nature of his calls. I generally do not answer calls that are unknown, unavailable, out of area, etc.

If you are a business owner as I. I would not answer this call some research group LIE I looked up the number and no reference to the name they gave vs. the number SCAM.
This number has called before and leaves no voicemail message, but because I've been expecting a few very important calls, changed my voicemail to a personal greeting before blocking any potential important legitimate unknown callers. Again, I just received another call from this number today, security app with caller ID said this number has been reported for harassment, so let go to voicemail, listened (just to double check) and caller left no voicemail message, even with personal greeting updated. Confident now this is not a call I've anticipated (especially being weekend), blocked number and sharing experience, as with info caller ID revealed pertaining to this number with other 800notes visitors.
