I always receive at least 4 calls a week. Always the same questions. 1. Your name first & last. 2. Your SSN. Which I would never give out to anyone for any reason over the phone! 3. Birthdate. Again nevervgivebout over the phone! 4. Address. Once again never give out over the phone! 5. Just to verify you are the person we are talking to can you give me your spouses name? Again!!! No, I do not give personal info out over the phone! What don't you understand! I told these people from the first call I do not have a bill out from where they are calling from! Give me the info from the original office & I would contact them myself! I never got a past due bill from any where! Thank you and goodbye!
I received a cal from this number (559-650-7131) asking me to press 2 if I was the intended recipient or press 1 if I was not. I was curious and pressed 2 then hung up the phone. In less than a minute I received another call from 559-256-2042 who I identified as Fresno Credit Bureau using this site. The lady who called back was somewhat rude when I would not identify myself as the person she was looking for.
I also got a call from these guys, but I was suspicious and didn't follow any instructions by pressing any keys. In just a few seconds the call went to a bunch of static, like a FAX or something. Then I got on the internet and looked it up. This is a really great service. I was going to call my cell phone company and report some strange call or fraud attempt, but the last time I did that those morons acted confused, like they never got any calls from customers like this, and I don't think they did anything.
I also have received calls from this number and others and have also done the same things as everyone else & the people on the other end are very rude ppl! It is the Fresno Credit Bureau calling for a debt collector yes but they don't have to get so rude when it's not the person they are looking for at all!!! Some of us are really telling the truth! Not everyone lies about who they are on the phone! Besides even if i were the right person does that give them the right to be rude anyway? I DON'T THINK SO! Unless someone is getting rude with you, then you don't have a right to be rude with them! not one bit either!!! It's called Customer Service & Manners PPL! Didn't your Momma ever teach you that "YES" You do have manners so use them NO Matter Who's on the other end of the phone!!!
