Recieved call from this #559-800-8346, claiming to be the "electricity company". These people are "scammers" and will try to convince you that you own them money. The man insisted on speaking only spanish and gave me a number to call back. It was the same number,559-800-8346. The woman I spoke to was rude and ridicules!!!! She also refused to speak English. I asked them NOT to call me back and called the DWP and also the local police. They threaten to SEND someone out right NOW to collect....They prey on the elderly and sadly the ignorant...DON'T BE A VICTIM! HANG UP ON THESE IDIOTS AND REPORT THEM! This is the only way they will be caught and thrown in jail.
A lady, supposedly from some legal department, who spoke ONLY in Spanish was asking for the sir or lady of the household regarding a payment for an electric company, to see if the payment went through correctly.

I asked , "The electric bill?"
"Correct, the electric bill", she replied.
"So then this is from (insert our electric company's name)?", I asked to confirm.
"Exactly, sir." she said, "Has the payment been made?"
I said they weren't home right now so she insisted on knowing what time they would get home so she could call again. I asked if instead she could leave a callback number so we could call them instead of having them call us. She said, "ok, please take note of this number" ..., but then instead of giving me a number she once again asked what time they would be home so she could all again. She was testing my patience with her pushiness.
So this time I said in ENGLISH basically that we do not trust any companies that call us and that we always initiate the calls.
She replied with, "Espanol, senor?" (What? A representative from the legal dept of a U.S. electric company that does not speak English? Hell with that...)
I ended with this in Spanish, "Ok, well we won't be able to communicate with you then if you don't speak Enlish. Sorry."
These [***] called my grama with the same scam called them back and the [***] hung up on me! Told them I was aware they are scammers and the [***] laughed and hung up on me!
