I happen to work there, for maybe 2 mos now....The 'what's his name again' thing is just a basic sales technique to get buyer on phone...I agree that noone should ever be rude & never am ( though some are)...The sec'y that answers the phone is human as is the maintenance mgr that we try to embezzle ( oops, I mean sell)...The company is NOT a scam...If someone orders bulbs, they apparently receive them albeit it very overpriced...
"Brian White" from this company has called our business several times and managed to find out a person's name as a contact through an unsuspecting person who answered the phone. He says the person from our company has called him and he just wants to return his call about a part #. I told his this person was in a meeting all day and he even came back with "he must have snuk out and called me!" When I took his information, he became VERY rude and told me he was a "busy man" and didn't have time to talk to me if the person he wanted wasn't in.
The moral of the story is - HANG UP ON THEM! Or better yet, ask to be placed on the Do Not Call list!
This guy just called me pretending someone here had called him and that he was a electrician. Even tried to use a excuse it was about a junction box behind the church. Was very rude..
Caller ID reported "Midway" under the phone number and was a salesperson calling and wanted to talk to the "Guy that runs your service department ... Oh what was his name again?" When you respond that you do not have a service manager the caller gets rude and hangs up on you. This is obviously not a reputable company, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Period.
