The new scam is people creating unknown who's who directories - they first call to tell you congratulations - and how your success has earned you a listing....for about $500.
I received a call from this number which was Biltmore's Who's Who. As flattering as it is, it is extremely expensive to join. I was quoted a lifetime membership for $700+. Although the caller was pleasant, the sales pitch was lengthy and forceful. Needless to say, I just couldn't afford what the caller was selling.
