Woman who said she was representing "Jupiter Medical Center Foundation" asked for spouse by name, implied that spouse had written them a letter requesting information. Spouse was busy with a visitor on business at the time of the call. I asked for the name, phone number, and purpose of the call, thinking this was legitimate callback. The woman said she could not leave a phone number or state the purpose of the call.

I asked nicely several times for callback information, but she said she would call back at some undetermined time. I stated we don't usually answer calls that are not identified. Woman said she understood, sounded embarrassed, and we ended the call.

I went to the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation website. It is devoted completely to money raising for the hospital, and had nothing to do with the medical activities of the hospital whatsoever. Can't figure out why they have to solicit money using unsolicited phone calls from the public. Very tawdry, cheap.

This number was blocked. My spouse hates these unsolicited phone spammers as much as I do.
