Received a call from 561-296-1948. Caller id said 'West Palm Be FL'. I've received the same calls from 561-296-1944, 561-296-1965, 561-296-1966, 561-296-1951, 561-296-1945, 561-296-1948, and 561-296-1961.
As reported by others, they are collecting for the Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association, which is nothing other than an association/union for law enforcement personnel.

These are people calling on behalf of the Policeman's Benevolent Society. I advised caller if he was calling on behalf of someone than he was a Telemarketer to which he replied angrily that he was a Professional Solicitor. I replied that a Telemarketer by any other name was still a
Telemarketer.
We have een receiving phone calls from this number, as well as 561 296 1970. We consider these harass ing and invasion of our privacy, there is no response, just harassing. These MUST be stopped, we will willingly seek court relief, if necessary against all parties....this is a violation of the Sate of Florida as well as Federal do not call. We are notifying both legal authorities and asking AST&T to take immediate action.
