Today - Good Friday - received a call from these scum bags, Universal Coin Collecting in Delray Beach, FL. The usual pitch regarding the "great investment coins are today." Just have to gather the data to file my complaint with the FTC.
Today, Friday, October 7, 2011, I received a call from Wesley at Universal Coin. He described a coin, its characteristics, and merits, and spoke about the price of silver. He talked price (I listened all the while after politely accepting his call) and asked if I would "swing one roll or two" at $599 per roll. I told him I would "swing zero rolls". He said that if I gave him 1% of my confidence he would earn the other 99%. I asked what I would need to do to give him 1% of my confidence. Answer: buy one roll or two. I told him I would give him 100% of my confidence but 0% of my money. Wesley assured me that I was protected because the purchase could be put on my card and they have a money back guarantee trial period. I told him I was going to protect myself by not making the purchase. He asked me about article such and such. I told him I was unfamiliar with what he was talking about. Wesley said it was the Constitution - had I heard of it? Was I familiar with the freedoms it gave me? I asked if he meant my increasingly limited freedoms. I asked if he called to discuss my freedoms or a transaction. He replied by saying you know what? You sound like a real schmuck. You sound like a real imbecile. You sound like a real moron.
They are back with the same story. Still talking about the "Sucker List." Broke several laws. They aren't very successful since they always have just 78 rolls and can only sell 2 to a customer. Thats only $46,000 in 8 weeks.
