This is a well known scam based out of India & facilitated in the US by a gentleman in Tracy, CA. It has been featured on ABC News. Databases of online loan applications were either hacked or the info was sold off to organized crime rings in the Middle East. They try to intimidate people into making payments. Do pick up the phone. They WILL call you at work. They have nothing to lose & usually use disposable cell phones. They will call a few times, then move onto somebody that will answer their calls. They already have your SSN & banking info. Just don't answer the calls, nor call them back. They are not affiliated with any real attorney, or court.
