received a phone call from an Anastasia, very rude, very harassing said they weren't soliciting, saying they were merchants that handled my business but didn't know what business.very rude.
Called, said when questioned, they were
NOT telemarketing, they were a Notification
Center. When questioned, for who, they said for Merchants. Asked for what Merchant.
They didn't know.
There is a woman that keeps calling from this number. Shows up as PCS on my caller ID. She won't tell me what it's regarding, but keeps trying to leave a reference number. I told her if she needed something she could fax, email or send via US mail and she said that she couldn't. Our cc processing is done through our bank, she's either a telemarketer or it's a scam. If it was legit, why is this only via phone?

I also received a message from this company PCS (Private Client Services). The message left a reference number. I thought it was in reference to our merchant account. After calling and speaking with Anastasia...who was indeed extremely rude and obnoxious...I ended the call by hanging up. This company is trying to solicit us to change merchant accounts because we are "eligible" for a 30% rate reduction. Be aware of those you do not know! Ask a lot of questions, and if a solicitor becomes rude...it's quite obvious you don't want to do business with them and there will be a cost. :)
I feel compelled to respond. In calling someone it is highly unprofessional that someone would find the need to yell at you because they do not understand. At no time should someone be bullied during a phone call. So when you do not allow someone to abuse you during a call, yell at you...you are labeled obnoxious. How unfortunate. It is always interesting to let the public know how someone treats people who are not putting money in their pockets, that is their TRUE test. MARY is rude, abusive, believes bullying and yelling will get her respect.
