Just recieved this call from that number. The woman had called earlier while I was at work, and asked my babysitter for my cell number. After my sitter said she didn't have it, the woman told her that was irresponsible. So the woman just called back while I was here, and was asking for someone by a different name. When I told her she had the wrong number, she said, "NO, I don't". I then became angry with her and told her I didn't appreciate her asking for my personal info with my sitter, and not to call back. She said she was going to report me to the compliance center! I said, this is my phone, I can say whatever I want. This woman needs to be caught, fined, SOMETHING!
Received a call from this # a little earlier. Did not recognize the #, so immediately cancelled the call to allow it go to voicemail. Within seconds, I received a text message from the #. The text only had the phone # as 5614040254 without any other info. No voicemail.
Other potential spam/scam call I received earlier today was from 615-741-6115 - only call, no voicemail, no text.
This is a health insurance broker. Several months ago I was curious as to health insurance rates for future reference and when I clicked to see what base rates were offered presently, I was immediatly bombarded with phone calls from insurance brokers which went on with multiple calls daily for weeks on end. Finally got them to stop for the most part until this week.
I just received a phone call from this number 561-404-0254 and the woman identified herself as an insurance broker. I kindly explained I don't need health insurance (I'm currently insured), was merely curious, related that I am an RN and am familiar with healthcare and somewhat with insurance and to please not call anymore. The woman became very aggressive with me telling me that if I was REALLY an RN I would know my name went into a data base, there was no way to stop the calls and I would need a broker to find health insurance.
I'm not that stupid and was insulted at her assertion I was not a nurse. I am at my wits end with these phone calls. Isn't there a federal law that when you ask to be taken off a list/out of the data base they must do it???
Called 7 times today but used different numbers and area codes. when looked up all numbers i see its the same health/life isurance telemarketers. ask for fake name then when told its not me they either hang up or say icalled them. Make that 8 called me while typing this.
