I got the same call as the person above from a woman with a middle eastern accent. I could not understand a word except she knew my wife's name. I surmised she must have gotten my number and my wife's name from an inquiry that I made several weeks ago for a health insurance quote. I had requested a quote for my wife through one of the Obamacare websites.
I am living in an earlier time zone than my cell phone, promptly at 7am this morning, my phone rings and it is a foreign accented woman who is hard to understand (middle eastern?).. She transfers me to a Colorado "insurance agent " who will help with health insurance. He comes on, very mid-American, and offers me $180-$250 a month for health insurance. He discusses benefits? No. Says some weird group (company) name that I have to join. And, it is I CAN. I have dealt with them and walked away from them before. They are scamming money off the uninformed by supposedly putting you into a health insurance group and charging some heavy duty premiums. Good luck trying to get a claim paid. I worked for 5 years in management of a major health care company and all I can say is RUN DON'T WALK if they call you. They don't even fake it well.
