NO! It is NOT the courthouse calling. It is a THIEF trying to extort money from you. It is also ILLEFGAL to claim to be part if the government.. IF there really was a charge against you, there would be no warning! Think SCAM!~
Fake IRS scam call - stating you will be arrested if you don't reply. If you received a call from 561-692-7408, report it to the Treasury Inspector General for the Tax Admin at https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml and also the FBI at https://tips.fbi.gov/ Do not call back and threaten the caller - just report the number ASAP! It is a company in India using Magic Jack to create their digital phone numbers. Report this number if you have been called before the fake company shuts the number down! Maybe TIGTA could be able to trace through the phone number to the IP address it is originating from, once they call the number, and find out where these folks are operating out of
get calls from this number if I don't answer no message if I answer it a recording saying they are the IRS and I will be arrested within hours by the sheriff.
However, I work for a tax office and I know the IRS will not call you. They only send letters and then I will let someone look at it if I do get a letter to see if it is true
