The call to me came in to me a few hours after posting an ad on Adszoom. The guy with the foreign accent wanted a check by phone for a discounted, up graded service.
They are neither a legitimate collection agency, nor Adszoom. They are scam artists trolling for every possible opportunity to rip people off. The best thing to do with them is HANG UP!
If they call back, push answer, then immediately hang up. They will then troll somewhere else more productive, and leave you alone.
I receive calls from this number occasionally. They never leave a message. When I called back, a woman answered without providing a business name, and would not give me any information about whom I had reached unless I provided my name and number.
I'm guessing debt collector. I've been getting scam debt calls for awhile now.
was called from this number today on two different occasions, after being told the first time that the person they were looking for didnt live here, i was called a second time and was cussed out by the man on the phone. when i called the number back the person that answered the phone wouldnt give me the name of the company calling.
i was called by this number a few days ago and was told i had a unpaid laon from 2008 and if i didint pay it wouldnt be good i then looked up the number and found this and he would not give me a name for the company
I was called from this number today and was told to pay back a loan from 2 years ago - i never took out a loan 2 years ago. I even ran my credit report to verify that my credit is in good standing. I was told to call back at 877-854-0260 and when I did I got yelled at for telling them they have incorrect information about this debt. This sounds like it could be a scam...beware.
