Just because you're on the Do Not Call list and have an unlisted number doesn't mean a less than legitimate company is going to comply. Plus, if you put your number on a form or online and didn't read the details, they could've gave or sold your number to another company.
That's not allowed - if a company wants to give or sell your details to another company, they MUST - by law - notify you and have you OPT-IN - and it has to be apparent, not buried in teeny tiny legalese.
Received a call Sunday stating that they were with a Medical Company from 786-540-1818. I knew it was solicitor, so I asked if it was my doctor's office. They said no, that I must have had bladder surgery or something. I then replied, Oh...I heard about you guys, PUT ME ON YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST. Now I got a call from 561-907-6003 and he said he was calling from Legal Help Centre. Also a Florida number.
someone called, spoke broken English, maybe Asian. Talk about medical compensation from manufacture of my medicine that I have been taking for 15 years? Calls many times. I don't answer, I am on do not call list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
