1/11/17 18:12 PST  Just another in the endless series of "V" ID's just making nuisances of themselves and leaving no message.  Google and white pages couldn't identify.  Will block.

Either solar, construction, u won a fake cruise, IRS scam Indians, or lower credit card rates

rang twice then hung up, no voicemail left

I get a lot of unwanted nuisance, telemarketing, & scam calls. What is a "V" ID? This is the first time I've ever seen one.

I'm not sure what this is. Other posters say it's a telemarketer. There was no message left, so since it was a local # I called back with blocked caller ID. Got one of those cutsey answering machine messages so going "No one is at home, just leave us a message." It could be just a wrong #, or a scammer using that outgoing message to make people who call back think they reached a residence so they won't block the number from future calls. Who knows? I blocked it anyway.
