11/07/16 8:42 PST Just tried again. This time I have gone on to Frontier call blocking. This will not only block incoming calls, it results in it not ringing on my end at all. The only way I will know if they try again is if I happen to be looking at TV screen and then it will be displayed for only a few seconds.
11/15/16 9:00 PST Just tried to call again, but didn't ring here at all since I added this number to my Frontier block list. I just happened to glance at TV screen when they tried to call.
Call from same number as in my Nov. 8 post above, but a different voice. He asked if a person who lived here 10 years ago was available. I said I could take a message but he hung up. So I didn't get a chance to waste his time.
I'm beginning to suspect that these telemarketing centers use the same spoofed phone numbers soliciting for different businesses.
Got a "we're sorry, your call didn't go through" message when I called back. It took a while to get that message, and i didn't hear any ringing during the wait. Perhaps the dialed number was forwarding it to a different phone?
