Just received a call from 562-224-4271 and it was an automated system asking me if I had any health conditions resulting from the use of some birth control pill, and to press "1" if I wanted to talk to someone.
As a man, this certainly doesn't apply to me and I certainly don't appreciate being solicited by calls to my cell phone
I'm on the DO NOT CALL registry and this number called me today 12-27-2012 at 12:15 PM MTN. I reported the number on the DO NOT CALL registry as should everyone that has their number registered with this service. If you don't report, nothing will happen. REPORT THEM!!! Message related to heart conditions and birth control. (recorded message). If you press 1, you'll get a live person that answers "Legal services". They will hang up if you ask them the name of their company or mention anything about them calling you unsolicited.
Me too received similar call for illness related to some type of birth control pill. Being also a male was surprised at first, the realize what the whole thing is about. Amazing that some lawyers are sleazy enough to attempt to collect names for a class action suit by using automatic robotic dialers dialers. Ironic that even though they are legal council, they are actually breaking the law by calling my wife's and I number as we are both registered on the 'no call list'
