The person's name they gave isn't even me. I am on disability and this is a cell phone. I did a reverse look-up and it appears they are calling from VOIP lines, which cost next to nothing to harass me. They are relentless and are giving me anxiety issues, wasting my cell phone minutes.
At first they called from 617-936-7740. Three times in one day. First two were hang-ups and the other one at night was was a recorded collection message. I reported them to the FCC for harassing me. FCC didn't seem to do a thing.
About a week later they called my cell again. This time twice in one day, just hanging up. I again filed a complaint with the FCC. I blocked the calling number through the phone service.
Today I get a call from their 562-473-4121 number. I did a third report to the FCC on them, but doesn't seem to matter.
These jerks are relentless. I know I have no debt. I am not late on anything. I even have a credit score of over 780. I am sick to my stomach over these calls. I am so afraid of scams. I had a good friend fooled by one and her health just went down hill after that.
Who in the world could even do this to other people?

Enhanced Recovery Corporation calls my cell phone repeatedly from this number and 3 other numbers and usually hang up on the 1st or 2nd ring. When I call back, I get an automated message telling me that it's either ERC or Enhanced Recovery and for me to visit their website www.billmelater.com to pay my bill. Out of curiosity, I visited that website and it's a place where people sell brand name products online. It has nothing to do with ERC or Enhanced Recovery. I contacted the people who own the website, and they never heard of ERC.
They've left two automated messages asking for someone I've never heard of and frankly, it doesn't even sound like a real name, or it could be me just misunderstanding the automated voice. I don't hear well. I don't know how they would have gotten my phone number. Is this a real company or some kind of scam/phishing outfit? I've installed a call blocker on my phone to block the calls from the 4 numbers they've been using.
Your caller is most likely with the Enhanced Recovery Company. They were once the Enhanced Recovery Corporation, but that was in their better days.
They're well known here. They are bottom of the barrel, fraudulent debt collectors. Ignore them or block their calls. They are absolutely nothing & they haven't been able to afford to collect on legitimate debts in a long time.

If these people are calling your cellphone, install a free app called Mr Number. Enter that number into your cellphone, then block them from calling you OR program your cellphone to just hang up on them, with this app. Give them a taste of their own medicine. It really works....lol...this is great for people you don't want to be bothered with!
