I got an automated call this morning saying they were from my credit card company with an offer to lower my interest rate. The message went on to say press 1 to talk to an operator about this limited time offer. I already knew it was a scam, but pressed 1 to call them out on it. The woman who came on the line didn't give a name, just said she was with my credit card company with an offer to lower my interest rates. When I asked her which credit card company the line went dead.
Received call from 562-622-3916. Nobody on the line, it beeped several times and disconnected. This isn't the first time that I've received this call. I usually ignore it and don't answer. It's probably Spam or a con.
