if what buster says is true, this is the all-time phone scam in our area code; caller ID said "Long Beach Mem" which was only reason I answered call.
I did not detect two-second silence or click and woman asked for my correct first name...then started her spiel.
I managed to maintain my composure (stunned I believe) and told her not interested.
mentioned that her caller ID label was very misleading; and she started talking about office they also had in Huntington Beach.
Just friggin' frustrating.
