Got a call this evening from 440-969-6207 -recorded message: This is Jennifer from Consumer Services calling about your credit card. I hung up and two seconds later I got a call from 567-245-0705 - same recording.
5-24-2012 9:42 am got the recorded card about cc from 567-288-2308. Hung up and less than a minute later get another call from 567-245-0705 with the same message. Pressed zero and gave him the spiel about I am on the Do Not Call list and remove my number. He paused and then asked "do you have $3,000 in debt?" I repeated my spiel and finally hung up.
I filed two complaints with the do not call registry for both of these numbers. It was easy and only took a couple of minutes.
I have received the Jennifer call several times from this number. I do hang up. With so many different numbers with similar recordings, I too hit "0". Twice they hung up on me.
I will now check the other numbers since I got 3 calls in two minutes. 440-969-6207 and 614-388-8474.
