I applied for a job and this person just texted me telling me that hebwas going the send me a check and to Not cash it to deposit it in my bank but to tell him when i do and then he would tell me what to buy for his for him firts and then i could have the rest well thats hella fishy so i dsaid no  i dont want to do anything to leave me alone and he flip and started threatening me and that he was going to kill me and they i was no longer safe and that i messed with the wrong person so i reported him to the cops

I also received several text messages from this phone number after having filled out an application for a personal assistant. The texts were kind of odd and the man ended up being a pompous [***]. He sent me a counterfeit check and called me stupid, dumb, and foolish when I told him the check was an obvious fraud. He quickly stopped his harassment after I informed him the authorities would be alerted. Nothing would happen to him had I deposited the check, but the bank would have pursued me with legal action.

Phone number 5672977136 is a scam. I received a 2,000 check from "Patrick welsh", when it arrives he sent a text saying how that the back locked the checks so I'll have to follow his special instructions on how to get it deposited/ cashed.
