A guy keeps calling from this number telling me to turn on my computer. My area code is 208. He also tells me me to quit calling him or he will report me. I gave him the non-emergency number for the local PD. Then I told him to turn on his computer so I can take a peek inside it for him. He didn't like that.
this number shows up on my phone and when i try to dial it a recording says its not a working number. how can that be when that number just came up on my phone?
I sent an email through the "Contact Us" system of the Treasure Valley Community College website. Immediately after that I got a call from this number. I didn't answer but I think that they're related.
Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft tech support. Asked me to turn on my computer to solve registry issues. Caller had a South Asian/Indian accent. Immediately hang up as this is a tech support scam.
