I just received a call and a message was left from this number and the caller identified herself as Patricia Wulson from CC Solutions. She said this call was in reference to an urgent matter. She said they tried to reach me several times through the mail and they were calling me about an ongoing dispute attached to my SSN. First of all, I have not received any letter from this company or any other company about a dispute with my SSN. Secondly, the caller addressed me by the wrong first name; it was similar but not correct. She left a call back number of 937-972-0189 Ext. 4010, but that number was different than the one from which she was calling. (I checked that number out on this 800NOTES site first and found several folks had received calls from that number and they believed it to be a scam.) She ended the message by asking that I call her back and to keep in mind that was a time sensitive matter. I have no reason to believe any of this is true, therefore, I will be blocking this number.
I got a call today from this phone number as well; after reading through this website a bit I'm beginning to think this is an Ohio scam period. Both the 937 and the 567 area codes are from Ohio...and I'm willing to bet the previous poster is in Ohio as well.
As a matter of fact this isn't the first time these same people, or at least someone with the same modus operandi as the one today, have called me. Both times these people quoted bank accounts that I've had in the past, but the date that they were saying I got a Payday Loan, the accounts had been long closed. Before I just got in a yelling match stating facts but I think I'm going to play with these people a bit to see if I can get some more information.
The people I talk to are all Onshore, and it even has call center-like background noise when they call. So its defintely a group of people here in the United States, even moreso I believe strongly they are in Ohio.
Im trying to find out how to press charges on this lady...ive asked varios times to stop calling..hung up..she called 5 times in a row..back to back..im ready to find her
