i had posted 2 vehicles of mine on kijiji and had a [email protected] and a [email protected] both text me from different numbers about 2 different cars and they both replied in the same manner over bidding my price and asking to have my paypal account. i played along and got one of them to call me and they are definetly jamaican saying they are from chicago and then i caught one in a lie about his buddy being in bermuda. it was priceless. needless to say dont fall for this crap
I got the exact same message from Betty who is "at sea" on a ship in the St Lawerence River. She initially sent me a text from a Chicago area code, told me via email that she was in Quebec and then went on to tell me the bike was for her son in Malaysia....?
Please tell me that nobody has heard of anybody actually falling for this BS!! Messaages below for reference.

i got the same scammers a marine biologist trying to buy my bike through paypal
couldnt talk on the phone due to him or her working on a boat, wanting to buy for son watch

Same guy is at it again but changing numbers! [email protected] is also using 209-782-0093 from California! You know if he put this much effort into getting a job, he would be making money the honest way and alot faster then trying to rip people off! Watch out people!
We just got the samd message on our cell phone. We have a bike for sale and Betty Glower wanted information as well. I wonder if anyone has ever got someone to their door that they could confront....?
