Called asking for the trade show coordinator. They say that they are updating housing reservations with "better rates" and they just need the name of the hotel we're booked at. Basically, these people want to change my hotel reservations for the trade show my company is attending and they are not the housing provider.
Call center utilizing people who's command of the English language leaves a lot to be desired. If you can get past the thick accent they are currently attempting to reach out to the trade show coordinators. Unfortunately, this number has also become the nuisance number of the week. Hanging up when asked who they are, what services they are providing, and which trade show are they referring too.
With a heavy accent asking for our tradeshow coordinator. They have called several times, at least once a week. I already knew who they were and I quickly said we already have a hotel, knowing this is what they wanted to talk about. The man said that is not what I am calling about. I then said, ok, so what did you call for? He hung up!

He was transferred to me by reception and went to voicemail. His named was Adam and he was want to urgently speak to me about Waste Expo. Let this number as his call-back number. A quick search led me here. We get these calls every year during trade show seasons.
Couldn't even speak English and whenever I would try to speak he would just say Geisinger. (A local hospital in the area). I do go to that hospital and so does my daughter..... but being he wouldn't let me speak and he couldn't even speak English and when I told him he had the wrong number be proceeded to call me again, & not leave a voicemail l, I am assuming this to be fake like all the other postings here... ridiculous! Oh, & it was 715am in the morning.
