Stupid robo calls. Do not call number back and press "9" to be placed on their "do not call list". It just confirms for them that they have a live number and the calls will continue from this number and others. Why can't the government do something about this harassment!

Phone only rang 3 or 4 times, not activating the message service. When I searched online, the number came back as affiliated with the "New Life Community Church" in Danville, PA (the number was on an 'owner's' page of their website, though the page doesn't actually take you to any 'owner' information and nothing happens when you click the 'contact us' tab???). I've gotten a few 'pro-life' calls during this election cycle, so maybe this 'Church' is doing something similar? Only...when I went to the yellow pages site to find the NLC Church, no physical address came back in Danville or surrounding areas. So maybe this is a really deep, strange scam involving a fake church or someone spoofed a poor old church lady's phone number. Normally I'd play detective but...not today. So I'm just leaving the info. I've found in case someone else feels like ferreting out the truth (meanwhile, I'm going to go play with some actual ferrets!) Good luck.
I'm thinking this number was spoofed and here is why ...going further than the first page on Google for this number I found this:
"1-570-215-9806. Reported 42 minutes ago. calls never leaves a message." &
also for this same number "Allegedly a research group."
They never leave a message. If you don't pick up and engage, their robo call will hang up.
Called around 2:30 pm on Saturday. Looking and digging, it appears to be some 'research' or survey, most likely political.
No surprise they didn't leave a message.
With some digging I found: "1-570-215-9806. Reported 42 minutes ago. calls never leaves a message." &
also for this same number "Allegedly a research group."
