Faarrkk, these Floridians forget that it's 7:00 a.m. on the west coast and too early to be hassling folks with their non-ACA compliant health plans that can result in federal tax penalties. Per the BBB, the NHEC is out of business in Boca Raton/Ft. Lauderdale area, BUT someone is still using the name. NHEC is/was a fictitious name for Access Insurance USA LLC per FL's Secretary of State website. Have id'd about 4-5 entities, but early morning fog means I can't recall them all right now. Wonder why they clam up when I and others like Skip ask for their Dept. of Insurance license numbers. Try to get their call back ##s, at least one # led to an agent licensed to sell high risk health plans in most states. The NHEC plans don't cover pre-existing conditions, pregnancy, mental health issues, and drug and alcohol addictions. Caveat emptor to the max.
National Health Enrollment Center scam. As always, the "agent" hung up after I asked for their license number.
Government not interested in shutting down this scam, I suppose. Have probably gotten over 100 calls this year from "National Health Enrollment Center" from over 100 different numbers.
