Called on 03/04/17. Male caller could not hear the organization name. Caller relates that call is being recorded. Asks if I can hear him. I hung up. Scam. Caller wants you to say "Yes" so they can record your response to use for other purposes. Read news articles about this scam.
Yes..My news channel said these calls are scams. Last week came in from Strousburg and I answered. Soon as I was asked "Can you hear me?" I hung up per News advise. Just got 3 calls in a row from Elsburg, several last week. I do NOT answer any #'s not recognized. I answered the Stroudsburg call due to calling that city from my work at home job.
