The call came up as an Elysburg, PA number, but it was the State Trooper Association soliciting donations to provide a "death benefit fund" for their organization. I've seen posts where this is a scam, but I'm not interested in donating regardless. Have been getting a lot of telemarketing calls where they spoof actual phone numbers of real people which causes a lot of other issues.
Just got this call today (4pm, 9/29/15), and they asked for me by name. When I asked who was calling, a woman went into a spiel about donations for breast cancer.
